Spring Under the Seven. Spoken Word

Barco de Papel in conjunction with the community organization  82nd Street Partnership presented on May 4th an poetry reading in a warm sunny spring afternoon. A multitudinous group of listeners gather together in the Manuel de Dios Unanue Park located on Roosevelt Avenue, juts one block away of the busy 82 street train stop. Three young women poets Representing three different countries read their work steps away of the 7 line train. They represented three different countries of Latin America Monserrat Vargas from Chile, Lucia Reyes from Mexico and Milena Carvajal George from Colombia.
