The Barco de Papel Cultural Center presented the book The Ideology of Love (Gambirazio Ediciones) followed by a talk with its author, Grecia Delta Cruz. The Q&A session was co-presented by Cynthia Meléndez and Carlina Dávila on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Childhood, adolescence, and adulthood are the paths that Grecia Delta Cruz (Lima, Peru) reconstructs through familial ties over decades of tradition in her debut book, The Ideology of Love. The author brings to light the eternal struggle women face in their quest for freedom. Throughout three chapters, the protagonist reevaluates the habits that govern her life and the roles imposed, learned, or taught to her, but she places above them the longing that illuminates the path shaped by love and hope. This story encapsulates, to a significant extent, the diverse struggles that humanity, and particularly women, face daily. Gambirazio Ediciones presents this first literary experience as one of the promising new voices in Peruvian narrative.
