Poetry Reading: En el Polvo Se Va Lo Que Seremos

posted in: Literature Events | 0

The Peruvian-American poet Alex Augusto Cabrera presented his most recent work, En el polvo se va lo seremos, a poetry collection that explores the uprooting, memory and internal struggle of the individual against his own existence on May 31, 2025.

In this collection of poems, Cabrera traces a journey through loneliness, loss and the search for identity, with a symbolic and deeply expressive language. His verses address themes such as family, homeland, faith and love, reflecting a feeling of alienation and nostalgia for what was and is no longer.
