Presentation of Legal Cinema

On Monday, January 29th, the presentation “Legal Cinema” was held, focused on literary promotion. Organized by the Centro Cultural Barco de Papel, the event featured the participation of renowned Spanish writer and jurist Pablo Fernández Carballo-Calero, who shared his unique perspective on the intersection between law and the seventh art.

Pablo Fernández Carballo-Calero (Spain): Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Vigo, Fernández Carballo-Calero is an expert in intellectual property and new technologies. Author of “Commercial Law and Cinema” and “The Intellectual Property of Works Created by Artificial Intelligence,” among others, he has directed the collection “Classics of Legal Cinema.” In his presentation, he explored how cinema can be a powerful tool for the dissemination and analysis of legal issues, as well as for reflection on justice and human rights.
