On Saturday, April 15th, “Under Construction” took place, an inspiring literary workshop focused on literary promotion. Organized by Poets & Writers, the Barco de Papel Cultural Center, Flushing Town Hall, and the Jackson Heights Beautification Group, the event was led by a diverse group of Latin American writers, including Sara Malangó (Colombia), Ruy Feben (Mexico), Margarita Drago (Argentina), and Nilton Maa (Peru). Participants had the opportunity to learn and share experiences about the writing and publishing process, exploring different perspectives and techniques to promote literature in their communities. It was a day of creative collaboration that strengthened the bonds between writers and their audience.
